Second AI Privacy Summit

Friday May 15,2026

Online Event

AI is everywhere, but who is actually using it right?

Step inside our exclusive show-and-tell and watch over our shoulders. We’re skipping the lectures to show you the exact, real-world ways humans are commanding AI to do the heavy lifting.

May 15, 2026

9am to 5pm EST

May 15, 2026 9am EST

David Horne

Founder, immut.io

  • Every company eventually faces two critical questions: Can you prove you were first? (The inventions, algorithms, and datasets that define your edge). Can you prove you followed your process? (The risk assessments, audits, and training records that show you operated correctly).
  • But here is the ultimate pivot: What if you could prove it, without revealing what it is? Public proof for a secret idea.
We are thrilled to announce that David Horne will be taking the stage to show us exactly how this is done.
  • From dropping a file to generating an instant fingerprint on a public blockchain, he will show you how to generate a court-ready certificate. This show-and-tell perfectly demonstrates how to capture exactly what is required as evidence in the courts, without ever exposing your sensitive contents.

May 15, 2026 10am EST

Margaret Mckay

Program Leader, National Research Council, Canada.

  • As AI transitions from experimental tools to core infrastructure, the focus must shift from "what AI can do" to "how we implement it safely." Margaret brings an unparalleled framework for Safe & Responsible AI Implementation, moving beyond theory into the high-level factors that determine organizational success and safety.
  • Navigating the AI Implementation Lifecycle
Margaret will lead a deep-dive session into the multi-dimensional factors of AI safety, focusing on the integration of Technology, Process, People, and Organization.
    • The "Hard" & "Soft" Expertise Gap: Why technical AI expertise must be matched by "soft" expertise—ensuring users at all levels understand the limits, risks, and prompt sensitivities of the tools they use.

    • The Five Pillars of Safety: A breakdown of how the External Environment, Technology, People, Process, and Organization must align to mitigate internal risks and misuse.

    • Human-AI Integration: Strategies for aligning AI to actual workflows while managing cognitive load and valuing human verification work.

    • Leadership Responsibility: How Executives, Managers, and Employees must collaborate to set realistic expectations and report adverse events.

  • Here is a sneak peek at what Andrew will cover during his session:
The Evolving Threat Landscape: Why data security just got a whole lot more challenging.
The Limits of Perimeter Defense: Why traditional AI guardrails simply aren't enough to protect your systems.
Outdated Blueprints: Why the legacy 1970s data architecture is completely unfit for modern AI threats.
The 2020s Architecture: An introduction to Distributed Intelligent Data Management.
Reversing the Security Posture: How PrivacyChain's patent-protected approach enforces multi-level defense directly at the record level.

Rajeev Nanda

AI & Engineering Executive

  • The Hidden Frontier of Data Privacy
Rajeev brings a provocative and essential perspective to this year’s summit. In an era of hyper-connected models, he reminds us:
"In AI, the biggest privacy risk is not what you share, but what can be inferred from it."
His session will dive deep into the world of Agentic Workflows and Prompt Engineering, exploring how organizations can harness the power of LLMs without inadvertently leaking "inferential" intelligence.
  • A Legacy of Innovation & Leadership
As a published author and expert in Innovation Harvesting, Rajeev’s expertise goes beyond the code. He specializes in:
AI Agentic Workflows: Moving from simple chatbots to autonomous systems that respect privacy boundaries.
AI Transformation: How to transition legacy organizations into AI-first powerhouses using Agile and SCRUM methodologies.

Meet Our Speakers

DAVID HORNE

FOUNDER , IMMUT.IO

Meta paid €17 million to the Irish DPC, not for lacking security controls but for failing to demonstrate the ones it had were operating at the time of 12 breaches. The ICO fined Advanced Computer Software £3.07 million on the same basis in 2025. HMRC charged a UK accountancy firm under the Corporate Criminal Offence for the first time over a £16 million R&D claim built on retrospective paperwork. Boeing settled with the DOJ for $487 million on 787 inspection records that looked identical to the real thing.

Word documents cannot answer that. Cloud retention cannot answer that. The compliance platforms most companies already pay for collect evidence brilliantly, but read their own contracts: the date-integrity question is contractually pushed back to the customer.

That is what immut fixes. We take a cryptographic fingerprint of a file on the user's device, write only the fingerprint to the XRP Ledger blockchain with a precise timestamp, and return a court-ready certificate. The file never leaves your control. Anyone in the world can verify it, without trusting us, ever. Accepted as legal evidence in 88 countries across 171 jurisdictions. Seconds per file. Pennies per file.

Ask yourself this question... if a regulator asked you prove to me that file was created on that day, could you without using data that is editable in emails, word processors and centralised systems like slack?

If you work on ISO 27001, R&D tax credits, GxP, trade secrets, or AI Act compliance, we a conversation.

Meet Our Speakers

ANDREW HOPKINS

PRESIDENT, PrivacyChain

I'm currently focused on the world of data - all data. It is an inescapable fact that our current centralized approach to storing, securing, managing and using data is hopelessly ill-equipped to deal with today's volume, variety and velocity of data.

We live in a world where data is generated, processed and utilized on billions of distributed devices. Yet, our current data management model is centralized - we aggregate and store "dumb" data in warehouses, lakes etc. and build massively expensive and inefficient infrastructure to manage, secure and make sense of this dumb data.

There is a better way - that's why we built PrivacyChain.
- The right data, in the right place, in the right format and, crucially, for as long as it needs to be there.
- Dynamic and optimized distribution of data across all devices.
- Intelligent data in which every data record know everything about itself and is directly findable by query - Security, control, rights enforcement built into the data layer and enforced on every individual data record.

Starting with UAV's, autonomous equipment and vehicles where current events are showing just how far behind we are in how we manage data across distributed devices.

Feel free to connect or engage (DM) if these topics resonate.
